Police probe killings of mother, daughter in Bronx

NEW YORK (AP) — A mother and her adult daughter have been found dead of apparent trauma in their home in the Bronx.

Police say officers responding to a wellness check found the bodies of 55-year-old Ida Randolph and 21-year-old Jena Randolph in separate bedrooms in their apartment on Valentine Avenue just before 6 p.m. Thursday.

Police say both victims suffered trauma to their bodies. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

There have been no arrests.
