Since its conception in 1919, Dunkirk Memorial Post 62 has been very active in sponsoring many activities and organizations, including Boy’s State, American Legion baseball, City League softball, City League basketball, bowling teams, Boy Scouts and the Drum and Bugle Corps, along with providing trophies for high school grads, scholarships for Dunkirk High students and donations to the Dunkirk Free Library.
