MAYVILLE - The Art Loft, the area's newest gallery and gift shop, is proud to join the Chautauqua community and will open its doors for a private reception Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Art Loft features local and national artisans specializing in a variety of mediums including jewelry, fiber, pottery, fine art, glass, woods and metals. It will be regularly open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m.
Located at 4994 West Lake Road, Mayville, The Art Loft is housed in a century-old structure with a rich history. In addition to being an art gallery and a home, the building has also been a lumber mill, a Shaklee outlet, and an art studio.
