BUFFALO - Univera Healthcare recently received three Excalibur Awards from the Buffalo/Niagara Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for its Fun 2B Fit program.
Univera Healthcare received a gold Excalibur for the Fun 2B Fit program in the Community Relations category, a bronze Excalibur in the Brochure category for a Parent Information Card and a gold Excalibur for a feature story entitled "Healthy Options on the Lunch Line."
Fun 2B Fit is a school-based, healthy lifestyle initiative focused on second, third and fourth graders and their families - encouraging them to adopt a healthier lifestyle by trying new foods, increasing physical activity, making healthier food choices at the supermarket and preparing meals as a family.
The PRSA Excalibur Awards are given to communication professionals who exemplify outstanding public relations work in the Western New York area. Forty-six awards were presented this year.
