Inn at Pheasant Run enjoys Chamber Membership

The Inn at Pheasant Run, an intimate bed and breakfast located in Bemus Point on beautiful Chautauqua Lake, has seen the benefits of being a Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce member since joining in May of 2007.

Owner Donna Sample attests to the many services provided by the Chamber including health care, publicity, referrals, and community involvement.

"I was originally interested in membership for the cost effective health care insurance for small business owners, but soon realized the Chamber offers so much more," she said. "The aspect of my membership I value most is the publicity provided by the Chamber."

"The Chamber has effectively promoted my bed and breakfast by recommending us to interested travelers. They have also taken a personal interest in my business, recommending us to potential guests in the area," said Sample. "Since becoming a member of the chamber, I have seen in increase in volume of calls from potential customers. From those inquiries, I have booked several guests and many of those same guests have since come back again for another stay.

"Chamber membership has significantly increased our business exposure in the local community as well as within surrounding areas. I am pleased that the Chamber of Commerce is promoting our area's number one industry, tourism. It provides a resource regarding local accommodations available to area visitors," she continued.

The Chamber is an advocate for its members, creating a climate of growth and success while providing economic opportunities within Chautauqua County, because it believes in its members and wants them to succeed not only in business but also within their community.

Sample explains "the helpful staff at the Chamber has made me feel like a valued member of the community. I feel as though the Chamber is committed to assist its members grow and prosper."

The Chamber also provides unique opportunities for individuals and businesses to make a difference by connecting them to important community issues, and to each other.

"The Chamber has created an outstanding venue for promoting my business and provides many great opportunities to network within the local business community. For me and my business, building relationships within the community is priceless and something that will reap rewards for many years to come. The Chamber opens doors to make those opportunities possible," said Sample.

Sample wholeheartedly encourages other businesses to join the Chamber of Commerce. "I have found that being a member of CCCC is much more than just being a name on a list," says Sample. "The many benefits of being a member that I have come to know provide great added value for any new business. I highly recommend it!"

Chamber membership is open to any business or organization operating or doing business in Chautauqua County.
