Ripley man accused of tattooing minor
RIPLEY - Ian S. Trimbath, 22, of Burton Street, Ripley, was jailed following his arraignment on charges of second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies said Trimbath was arrested following an investigation into a complaint received from the Chautauqua County Health Department and the mother of a 15-year-old girl.
The complaint involved the illegal tattooing of individuals being done in Ripley.
The investigation alleges Trimbath tattooed the 15-year-old at a residence in Ripley and also that he was unlicensed and uncertified to tattoo in New York.
A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was taken into custody, arraigned in Ripley Town Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash or $4,000 property bond bail.
N.C. man charged with sexual abuse
STOCKTON - Christopher J. Davis, 23, of North Carolina was jailed Wednesday following his arraignment a second-degree sexual abuse charge.
Deputies learned of the attack after responding to a call from a 13-year-old female who was sexually abused at a residence on Route 60.
The officers found Davis walking on Bachellor Hill Road and took him into custody.
The defendant was arraigned in Portland Town Court and was committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 property bond bail.

n MAYVILLE - Mario Carter, 25, of Dunkirk was featured on the Chautauqua County Wanted Persons list for criminal sale of drugs.
He was arrested by Dunkirk Police and is currently being held in Dunkirk Police custody.
His name has been removed from the wanted list.
n SHERIDAN - Ashley M. Lycett, 19, of Hanover Road, Forestville was charged Wednesday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
Deputies investigating a suspicious vehicle parked in a rest area on Route 5 in the Town of Sheridan spoke with Lycett, identified as the owner-driver of the vehicle.
Officers said she intentionally lied about the identity of her passenger, in an attempt to prevent his apprehension.
This passenger, who was not identified, was listed as a missing person in Chautauqua County and he also had an outstanding weapons warrant out of the Town of Evans.
Lycett was fully aware of her passenger's status and purposely interfered with the administration of law.
She was issued an appearance ticket for Sheridan Town Court.
n MAYVILLE - Ginger L. Carter, 36, of Mayville was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Deputies responding to a domestic dispute at a Morris Street residence found that Carter had left the residence and when she returned home, she recklessly pulled into the driveway, striking a Harley-Davidson motorcycle owned by George Strobel, 50, of the same address as Carter.
Officers said the impact hit the bike in the rear, damaging it and knocking it to the ground.
Strobel pressed charges and Carter was issued an appearance ticket for Chautauqua Town Court.
n MAYVILLE - Larry M. Passinger, 40, of North Erie Street, Mayville was charged Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Deputies investigating a report of fireworks being shot at a residence, passing vehicles and a utility truck allege Passinger shot several bottle rockets from his second-story porch at a residence, causing a burn to form on the house.
He is to answer the charge in Chautauqua Town Court.
n NORTH HARMONY - Douglas M. Gilchrist-Scott, 21, of Canton, Ohio, was charged Sunday with failure to stop at a stop sign.
Deputies investigating a two-vehicle accident at Stedman Corners in North Harmony said Jason T. Telschow, 30, of Bellview Road, Bemus Point was stopped at the Sherman-Stedman intersection when he proceeded through the intersection.
Gilcrist-Scott failed to stop at the intersection stop sign and hit the Telschow vehicle in to driver's side.
The Gilcrist-Scott vehicle then proceeded to hit the porch of Stedman Corners Coffee Shop causing extensive damage.
Telschow was extracted from his vehicle and was taken to WCA Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
n Issac Mallette-Lloyd, 22, of Cassadaga was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and other traffic violations.
Deputies said his vehicle went through the Kelly Hill Road intersection with Bear Lake Road, went off the roadway and hit a tree.
Mallette-Lloyd and an unidentified passenger were taken to Brooks Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
He was cited for DWI, failure to reduce speed, speed not reasonable and passing a stop sign.
These charges are to be answered in Pomfret Town Court.
n ELLINGTON - Michael McMullen, 64, of Thorton Road, Ellington, was charged Friday with jailed in lieu of $500 bail following his arraignment on a second-degree criminal trespass charge.
Deputies said McMullen allegedly forced his way into a Main Street home in Ellington.
The residents called 911 and McMullen left but was apprehended a short time later and was arraigned in Ellington Town Court.
n KIANTONE - Charles D. Sopkin, 61, of Russell, Pa., was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated.
Deputies said he was stopped on Route 60 for crossing over the center line markings and the investigation led to the DWI charge.
He also was cited for having .08 percent or more blood alcohol content and failure to keep right.
