John and Inez (Hilliker) Edler recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary during a dinner party at the Gowanda Moose, joined by family and friends. Their union began on Aug. 22, 1953 at the Forestville Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Mack officiating the ceremony.
The couple has two children - John (Sue) Edler of Irving and Deborah (Bill) Sedor of Williamsville. They have five grandchildren.
The couple is extremely active with community involvement. They enjoy traveling, camping, spending time with their close-knit family, and holding hands whenever they can.
