Time Warner Cable adds 57th High Definition channel

BUFFALO - Time Warner Cable, the nation's second largest cable television operator and provider of telecommunications services, today announced that it has added Fox News HD on channel 720. The new channel is offered to Time Warner Cable's customer on its FREE high-definition tier.

"With the upcoming Presidential election, now is the perfect time to launch Fox News HD. This reiterates our commitment to provide our customers with high quality, frequently viewed HD channels," said Terence Rafferty, WNY Division President, Time Warner Cable.

Fox News HD is a high-definition simulcast of the 24-hour news channel. Its news content focuses on national, world, business, political and breaking news. Key shows include Fox & Friends, Hannity & Colmes and The O'Reilley Factor.
