CHARLOTTE - Christ-opher L. Davis, 23, of Johnson Road, Sinclairville was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment.
Deputies said Davis' wife reported Davis he had slapped in the face and grabbed her neck during an argument between the two.
Davis also allegedly kicked his wife during the argument. He was arraigned in Charlotte Town Court and was jailed in lieu of $500 cash or $1,000 property bond bail.
CHARLOTTE - Paul S. Keller, 43, of Hamburg was charged Nov. 2 with driving while intoxicated.
Deputies said he was stopped on Route 60 in the Town of Charlotte for speeding and the investigation led to the DWI charge.
He also was cited for having .08 percent or more blood alcohol content and the speeding violation.
These charges are to be answered in Charlotte Town Court.
HARMONY - James-town residents Victor L. Perez, 19, of Bradmar Circle and Angelo L. Rivera Jr., 24, of Forest Avenue were charged Saturday with burglary.
The Sheriff's Department, Lakewood-Busti Police and NY State Police joined forces to capture the pair after they were found running from a Waltonian Road residence in the town of Harmony .
Officers responded when the unidentified home owner had called to report someone breaking into his residence.
Rivera was located a short time after officers arrived at the scene and Perez was located with the assistance of the sheriff's K-9 unit.
They were arraigned on the burglary charge in Harmony Town Court and were committed to jail in lieu of $50,000 cash or $100,000 property bond bail.
NORTH HARMONY - Michael K. Smith, 17, of Route 394, Ashville was charged with inadequate brakes following an investigation Friday into a vehicle accident on Bly Hill Road.
Deputies said the accident occurred when the vehicle failed to stop. He veered to the right and struck a the landscaping in front of a business, causing it to roll over on its roof.
Smith and an unidentified passenger were transported to WCA Hospital for treatment.
Smith is to answer the charge in North Harmony Town Court.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office
Joshua A. Bowers, 19, of Persia Road, Gowanda, was charged Nov. 2 with reckless endangerment and first-degree menacing after he allegedly fired a rifle at a home occupied by John Ammerman and Jason Nelson. Bowers was arraigned in Persia Town Court and released to appear at a later date.
New York State Police - Buffalo-Thruway
Aguilar S. Lopes, 35, of New Jersey, was arrested Nov. 2 at 5:09 a.m. for driving while intoxicated on the I-90 westbound in the town of Sheridan. He was arraigned in the Dunkirk Town Court.
Silver Creek Village Police
Franklin C. Blum, 43, of Burgess Street, was charged with driving while intoxicated following an accident on Burgess Street where his vehicle struck a pole. He was taken to Lakeshore Hospital and will be arraigned in Silver Creek Village Court on Nov. 19.

MAYVILLE - District Attorney David W. Foley announced the following pleas and sentences in Chautauqua County Court:
Christopher M. Freeney, 37, of Shirley Lane, Jamestown, was sentenced to a two-year determinate sentence with two years post-release supervision for fifth-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Mark Doolittle, 53, of West 30th St., Erie, Pa., was sentenced to 1 to three years in prison for felony driving while intoxicated concurrent with one to three years in prison for a second count of felony driving while intoxicated.
Lawrence Gary, 39, of East 6th St., Jamestown, was sentenced to time served and five years probation for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Jose M. Ortiz, 48, of Maple Street, Jamestown, was sentenced to five years probation, a $2,000 fine and one-year driver's license revocation for felony driving while intoxicated.
Mark Schnars, 43, of Livingston Avenue, Jamestown, was sentenced to time served and restitution for third-degree grand larceny in the.
Charles D. Hardy II, 25, of Woodsmoke Lane, Rochester, was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
