Melvin and Marjorie(Brennan) Foxton of Silver Creek celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 27, 1948 at Forestville Baptist Church.
A family celebration was held in October with a brunch in Syracuse, the day after their granddaughter was married.
The couple has four children - Keith (the late Sharon) Foxton of Rochester, Karen (Bob) Harty of Syracuse, Ken (Julie) Foxton of Maryland, and Kurt (Sue) Foxton of Clinton. They have 10 grandchildren - Mindy Foxton (fiance Jeffery St. John) of Rochester; Keith (Barbara) Foxton of Rochester; Paul Harty (fiancee Jamie Dunn-Kermes) of Syracuse; Megan (Joseph) Cook of Collins; Samantha Foxton of San Diego; Joshua Foxton and Heather Foxton of Annapolis, Md.; and Lee Foxton, Patrick Foxton and Ian Foxton, all of Clinton. They have two great-grandchildren - Brayden Foxton and Christian Cook.
