Members of Angola’s First Congregational United Church of Christ’s Kazoo Band are joined by students in the Sunday School’s Bible Adventure class and students in the Joint Confirmation class of St. John’s United Church of Christ and First Congregational United Church of Christ as they venture out to make a “joyful noise” at Autumn View Rehab Center in Hamburg. The Kazoo Band has roots that go back around 85 years and was reformed after a unique Kazoo was shown to the church’s Music Director Robin Miller. The Kazoo Band is an intergenerational music ministry of the church with members ranging from 6 to 86 years old. They have played at the Church’s annual Strawberry Social, during worship and at outside events within the community. To say the least a great time was had by all who participated in this outing.
