The main assembly room at LoGuidice BOCES was packed full of family members and guests recently for the school's National Technical Honor Society's induction ceremony.
Additional chairs had to be brought in for the people who stood around the back of the room.
A total of 21 students participated in the ceremony that paid recognition to their knowledge, leadership, service, honesty, scholarship, skill, citizenship and responsibility.

To be inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, the student must meet national and local membership standards and have overall good character.
In addition, members must maintain a 90 percent grade average and have five or fewer class absences throughout the school year.
The ceremony included the lighting of candles, the presentation of membership awards and scarves that carried the society's logo.
The honored students received an enthusiastic round of applause at the conclusion of the ceremony.
