FORESTVILLE - Jeffry T. Nederland, age 52, of Pearl Street, Forestville, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk. He was born on October 13, 1956 in Dunkirk, the son of the late John Edward Nederland and Barbara (Summerlee) Tower of Forestville. Mr. Nederland was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1975, and worked as a well driller for the former Underwater Gas, Port Colborne, Canada, for 10 years. He also at one time worked for Olsen Paving & S. R. Bailey Dump Truck Service, both of Forestville. He donated his organs to be used specifically in the research of Multiple Sclerosis. Mr. Nederland is survived by a daughter, Sgt. Heather Agnew of Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Fairborn, OH; a sister, Jodi (Retired Major Kevin) Nederland Johnson of Valrico, FL; two brothers, Jon (Diane) Tower of Lehigh, FL, and Jay Tower of Forestville. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Kayla & Terry Agnew; and long time loving companion, Janet Goldberg of Forestville. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Harlow & Loretta Summerlee. There will be no visitation observed. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Time and place to be announced. The family suggests memorials may be made either to the Forestville Fire Dept. Emergency & Rescue Squad, Chestnut Street, Forestville, NY 14062 or Neighbor to Neighbor Food Pantry, 9603 Prospect Road, Forestville, NY 14062.
