Chautauqua County Court

MAYVILLE - District Attorney David W. Foley announced the following pleas and sentences in Chautauqua County Court:

  • Victoria L. Andin, 28, of South Roberts Road, Dunkirk, was sentenced to 1 1/2 to 3 years in prison for third-degree attempted burglary.

Silver Creek Court

  • Jesus M. Serrano, 21, of Central Avenue, was arrested on a warrant and arraigned on a charge of second-degree harassment. He posted $100 bail and returns to court July 1st.

Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office

  • HANOVER - Paula M. Tanis, 52, of Angola was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated.

Deputies said she was stopped on Route 5 for failure to signal a turn and failure to maintain lane.

The investigation led to the DWI charge.

She also was cited for having .08 percent or more blood alcohol content and the traffic violations.

These charges are to be answered in Hanover Town Court.

  • MAYVILLE - Joey A. Lundburg, 27, of Dewittville was charged Friday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and no insurance.

He was stopped on North Erie Street in Mayville.

The investigation included a check on his driver's license which had expired and his driving privileges had been suspended for failing to answer a traffic summons.

He is to answer this latest series of charges in Chautauqua Town Court.

  • ELLERY - Tyler L. McMaster, 34, of Bemus Point was charged Saturday with endangering the welfare of a child.

Deputies said several teenagers were seen drinking alcohol at McMaster's residence on Dutch Hollow Road.

McMaster was home while this underage drinking was taking place, officers said.

He was issued an appearance ticket for Ellery Town Court.

  • NORTH HARMONY - Richard L. Ellis, 46, of Cove Circle East, Ashville was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, having .08 percent or more blood alcohol content and failure to comply.

Deputies said Lakewood-Busti Police were investigating a domestic violence incident where Ellis was a suspect.

He was located on Route 394 and failed to stop for officers.

He was taken into custody at his residence and turned over to sheriff's deputies.

The investigation led to the above listed charges which are to be answered in North Harmony Town Court.

Silver Creek Police

  • An unidentified 14-year-old female student from Sheridan was charged with third-degree assault following an investigation into a fight which occurred at approximately 10 a.m. on May 29 at the Silver Creek middle school. The youth was issued an appearance ticket and is to be in family court at a later date. The investigation was conducted and the arrest made by the school resource officer for Silver Creek Central School, Officer Robert Lazarczyk of the Silver Creek Police Department.
  • Ramon Salas Jr., 20, of Angola, was charged on May 29 with underage possession of alcohol and open container. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Silver Creek Court on June 10 at 7 p.m.
  • Lorelei L. Walker, 30, of Buffalo, was charged on May 30 with speeding and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. There was a valid warrant out of West Seneca Town Court.

Walker was issued tickets to appear in Silver Creek Village Court on June 10 at 7 p.m. and was turned over to the West Seneca Police Department on the warrant.
