Golfers get out in support of Roswell

The Green Arch Restaurant and Legion Post 434 in Brocton have teamed up for the 4th Annual Golfing for Roswell tournament. This year, the tournament was expaned to 18 holes and played at Green Meadows golf course in North East, Pa. The sold out tournament had 120 golfers and raised just over $5,000 dollars for research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

The banquet following play was held at Post 434 with awards and prizes in various fields, a hole-in-one was recorded during play on the 200-yard par 3, No. 13 by Dick Furman.

The 2009 committee of Al and Cheryl Brumagin, Dan and Pat Thompson, Pete, Sue and Kelly Miller, Jenifer Brumagin, Dave Willebrandt, Matt Brumagin, Cindy Oar and Josh Brumagin, would like to thank all the volunteers, Patrons, and Donors for another successful year. The 2010 tournament will be held on the same weekend.
