MAYVILLE - District Attorney David W. Foley announced the following pleas and sentences in Chautauqua County Court:

  • Kenneth L. Whitney, 30, of West 7th Street, Jamestown, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for second-degree attempted criminal possession of a weapon.
  • Norma I. Rivera, 37, of Monroe Street, Jamestown, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison with two years post-release supervision for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
  • Carl Hebner Jr., 24, Sager Road, Sinclairville, was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison for third-degree burglary.
  • Joshua Hebner, 24, Pierson Road, Stockton, was sentenced to five years probation and four months of weekend work release for third-degree burglary.
  • Kimberly M. Meder, 46, of Woodrow Avenue, Dunkirk, was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay restitution for second-degree grand larceny.
  • Joseph Fred, 26, of Brad Street, Jamestown, was sentenced to five years probation, a $1,500 fine and one-year driver's license revocation for felony driving while intoxicated concurrent with three years probation and a $1,000 fine for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
