FORESTVILLE - William E. Hafner, 46, of Main Street, Forestville was charged Monday with second-degree menacing.
Deputies said he allegedly threatened his mother with a shotgun and after an investigation a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He was located at his home a short while later and was taken into custody, arraigned in Hanover Town Court and was committed to Chautauqua County Jail.
HANOVER - Five teenagers were charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of alcohol under the age of 21.
Arrested were Christine Sagnibene, 19, of West Seneca; Michael Rojek, 19, of Orchard Park; Michael Szpara, 18, of West Seneca; Kaitlin Kwietniewski, 18, of West Seneca and Jane Murray, 18, of West Seneca.
They were cited following an investigation into a reported underage party in Sunset Bay. The defendants will answer the charges in Hanover Town Court.
ASHVILLE - A two-vehicle accident Tuesday on Open Meadows Road in North Harmony sent both drivers to the hospital.
Deputies said Lonnie Hoover, 70, of Ashville crossed over the road in front of Thomas Cassanti, 61, of Sherman. Both were taken to WCA Hospital to be evaluated with Hoover later taken to Hamot Medical Center for additional treatment.
No charges were filed.
NORTH HARMONY - Mikala P. Brain, 18, of Lakewood was charged June 3 with speeding and aggravated unlicensed operation. Deputies said Brain was stopped for speeding and a license check revealed her state driving privileges had been suspended.
She is scheduled to answer the charges in North Harmony Town Court.
MAYVILLE - Mark E, Schulenberg, 25, of Dunkirk was featured on the Chautauqua County Wanted Persons list for third-degree grand larceny. He was arrested by the Dunkirk Police and is currently being held in Chautauqua County Jail.
His name has been removed from the wanted list.
