Writers in Fredonia will join thousands of writers throughout the nation to display their compositions in "Fredonia Writes" (galleryofwriting.org/galleries/56514), a local partner gallery in the National Gallery of Writing (www.galleryofwriting.org), hosted by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE).
Their compositions will be unveiled with the opening of the Gallery on Oct. 20, the National Day on Writing.
Gallery curator Kerry Seastrum, Fredonia Central School English teacher, invites and encourages submissions to "Fredonia Writes" our local gallery. Submissions of any genre are being accepted. Submission is easy; just follow the instructions at the web site.
As a local partner gallery in the National Gallery of Writing, Fredonia Writes will join NCTE (www.ncte.org) in celebrating composition in all its forms and demonstrating how integral writing has become to daily life in the 21st century.
All sorts of writers and all forms of composition from kindergarten picture messages to YouTube videos to short stories, emails, journal entries and more will be featured in the National Gallery of Writing.
