Stephanie A. Crane, 28,of Morewood Drive, Dunkirk, NY died Tuesday (July 28, 2009) at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa.
She was born in Dunkirk, NY on June 21, 1981, the daughter of Molly (DeLand) Hall of Southside Alabama and Steven Crane of Dunkirk.
A lifelong resident of the Dunkirk-Fredonia area, Stephanie was self employed. She was a graduate of Fredonia Central School.
She enjoyed hiking, the water and canoeing, rock collecting, camping and loved animals, especially her dog Shadow and her cats, Tiggy and Max.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her longtime partner, David Narraway; her stepmother, Jill O'Connell Crane; stepfather, Carter Hall; two brothers, Christopher Sikorski of North Carolina and Casey Crane of Dunkirk, NY; and her grandmother, Mary DeLand of Fredonia, NY.
She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Francis DeLand and Raymond Crane; one grandmother, Elaine Crane; and one uncle, Roy DeLand.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Morse Funeral Home of Brocton. The Rev. Michael Parker will officiate.
Friends are invited to call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
