The immediate family of Myrton and Marjorie Sprague recently gathered at Payne's Kettle & Keg to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple was married on June 6, 1959 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gowanda. Mrs. Sprague is the former Marjorie Harvey of Collins.
They are the parents of three children, Diane (Wesley) Suraf of Perrysburg, Daniel (Jane) Sprague of Irving and William (Charisse) Sprague of Gowanda. They also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The Spragues owned and operated Sprague's Dairy and Grape Farm for many years. Mr. Sprague was very involved with the town of Perrysburg having been the supervisor for 12 years as well as other positions with the town.
In their retirement, they are both actively involved in volunteering at their church.
