Robert J. Austin, 31, of Ulrich Park Drive, Cassadaga was charged Sunday with second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment.
Chautauqua County Sheriffs deputies said Austin got into an argument with a female while at the state boat launch on Dale Drive in the Town of Pomfret. The victim was leaning in the driver's side window of Austin's car when Austin choked the victim, rolled up his window, trapping her.
He then drove out of the parking area, dragging the victim before rolling down the car window making the victim fall to the pavement.
The victim refused treatment and a warrant was obtained from Pomfret Town Justice David Prince and Austin was arrested.
He was arraigned on the charges and was committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
Chautauqua Sheriffs
Jeremy Sanders, 28, of South Dayton was charged Saturday with having a loud exhaust, being an unlicensed driver and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Deputies said he was stopped on Bennett Road in the Town of Dunkirk for the exhaust violation and the investigation led to the other charges.
A check of his license revealed it had expired and had been suspended because he had failed to answer an summons in the Town of Hanover.
He is to answer this latest set of charges in Dunkirk Town Court.
NORTH HARMONY - Charles A. Ferguson, 56, of Plainfield, NJ, was charged Sept. 4 with speeding and aggravated unlicensed operation.
Deputies said Ferguson was stopped on Route 394 for speeding and a check of his license revealed his driving privileges had been suspended.
The charges are to be answered in North Harmony Town Court.
MAYVILLE - Sabrina Johnson, 27, of Ellery Centralia Road, Dewittville was charged with fifth-degree welfare fraud, second-degree offering a false instrument and misuse of food stamps.
She allegedly failed to notify social services that she had gained employment and received $2,564 in Medicaid and food stamp benefits she was not entitled to.
The charges are to be answered in Dunkirk City Court.
MAYVILLE - Richard A. Milton, 44, of Cheektowaga was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, failure to submit to a prescreening test and parked within 30 feet of a stop sign.
Deputies said he was observed making a turn onto Washington Street in Mayville and later was seen parked within 30 feet of the stop sign. The investigation found him to be intoxicated and was subsequently charged.
He was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court and was jailed until bail could be posted.
HANOVER - Deborah J. Bradley, 49, of Randolph was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, failure to maintain lane with more charges pending.
Deputies responded to a call about an intoxicated driver on Chestnut Street in Forestville. A description of the vehicle was given to deputies and it was located on Dennison Road in the Town of Hanover. The vehicle was stopped and Bradley was found to be intoxicated. The additional charges may be placed because of an earlier incident.
She is to answer the charges in Hanover Town Court.

Robert Terry, 52, of Main Street was charged Sept. 2 with issuing a bad check.
Michael Sedlacek, 31, of Ocelot Street was charged Sept. 2 with harassment.
Bryan Willis, 17, of Brigham Road, Fredonia was charged Sept. 3 with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
Bianca Larkins, 19, of Lincoln Avenue was charged Sept. 3 with harassment.
Eugene Singer, 30, of Washington Avenue was charged Sept. 3 with menacing.
Michael Cunningham, 40, of Fredonia was charged Sept. 4 with petit larceny.
Jose Rivera-Romero, 26, of Lincoln Avenue was charged Sept. 4 with unlawful possession of marijuana and illegal front window tints.
Jordan Price, 21, of Rochester was charged Sept. 5 with disorderly conduct.
Johnathan Higgins, 20, of Eden was charged Sept. 6 with failure to reduce speed, failure to stay in lane, driving on the sidewalk, property damage accident, driving uninsured, driving while intoxicated and refusing a breath test.
Emily Snyder, 20, of Cassadaga was charged Sept. 6 with fourth degree grand larceny.
Terin Butler, 18, of Washington Avenue was charged Sept. 6 with criminal mischief.
Michael Rosario, 38, of Wright Park Drive was charged Sept. 9 with filing a false instrument.
Westfield Police
Josh A. Tunison, 26, of Academy Street, Westfield was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal trespass.
Westfield Police were sent to a residence on Academy Street to check on a possible trespass. Officers were told a man was seen entering the home without permission. They were also informed that the home had been unoccupied for some time and no one was supposed to be there. The police officers contacted the home owner and received permission to search the house. They located Tunison in an upstairs bedroom.
He was arrested and issued an appearance ticket for Westfield Village Court.
