The Fredonia Olympic Celebration Committee will be dedicating a flag pole and monument in honor of Jenn Stuczynski, Fredonia's pole vaulting Olympic silver medalist on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. next to the information booth in the Barker Common, downtown Fredonia.

This event is in conjunction with the Fredonia Red, White and Blues Festival to be held this coming weekend. During this event, the committee will announce the scholarship that will be available for the 2010 High School graduates. Jenn and Coach Rick Suhr will be attending the event along with Jenn's family and Olympic Committee members. The public is encouraged to wear their Olympic t-shirts and come celebrate this wonderful achievement.
