A 50th anniversary party was held at the Gowanda Moose Club for 65 family and friends on Saturday, Aug. 29 for James J. Martin Jr. and Annajean (Whalen) Martin. They were married at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Sept. 5, 1959 in Perrysburg. Highlights of the party were: Their daughter, Rebecca, surprised them by coming from South Carolina and Annajean's sister, Terry, came from Florida.
