- SHERIDAN - Ronald A. McCoy, 50, of Hanover was charged Sunday with felony driving while intoxicated and failure to yield the right of way.
Deputies said they responded to a call of a vehicle accident on Stebbins Road. The investigation revealed that McCoy had entered the roadway and failed to yield to a passing motorist. He was found to be intoxicated and was so charged.
He was arraigned in Sheridan Town Court and posted bail. The charges are to be answered in Sheridan Town Court.
Chautauqua Sheriffs
- Amanda D. Bolling, 28, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated alcohol blood content of .08 percent or more.
Deputies said she was stopped on South Roberts Road in the town of Dunkirk for crossing over the fog line. The investigation led to the DWI charges. She also was cited for moving from a lane unsafely.
These charges are to be answered in Dunkirk Town Court.
Silver Creek Police
- Joseph K. Thompson, 42, of Park Avenue, Dunkirk, was charged Oct. 7 with crossing official markings, driving while intoxicated and above .08 blood alcohol content. He was issued tickets to appear in Silver Creek Village Court on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
- Ashley L. Hartzell, 22, of Cain Road, Angola, was charged Oct. 8 with unsafe lane change, uninspected motor vehicle, open container in motor vehicle, littering, driving while intoxicated, above .08 blood alcohol content and unlawful possession of marijuana. She was issued tickets to appear in Silver Creek Village Court on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m.
- Jose Medina-Pagan, 28, of Central Avenue, Silver Creek was charged Oct. 10 with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, assault in the second degree and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree. He was arraigned in the Town of Portland Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
