Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office
Donald T. Buchanan, 41, of Dunkirk was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, having .08 percent or more blood alcohol content and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
Deputies said he was stopped on Route 60 in the Town of Dunkirk for having one headlight out and the investigation led to the above charges. A records check revealed his license has been suspended.
Buchanan is to answer the charges in Dunkirk Town Court.
MAYVILLE - Ann Earley, 22, of Pine Street, Dunkirk was charged with welfare fraud. She was issued appearance tickets for first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps.
The investigation alleges she failed to report to social services she had gained employment, receiving $1,687 in food stamps she was not entitled to.
The charges are to be answered in Dunkirk City Court.
Fredonia Police Department
Carrie Pawelski, 30, of West Shorewood Drive, Dunkirk was charged Oct. 8 with driving while intoxicated.
Richard Robinson Jr., 22, of Forest Place and Michael Colby, 22, of Central Avenue were both charged Oct. 8 with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Donald Wilson Jr., 20, of East Main Street was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, and disorderly conduct along with Christopher Hammond, 20, of Clinton Avenue on Oct. 8.
Jeffrey Daniels, 19, of Jamestown was charged Oct. 9 with littering.
Mathew Sutton, 22, of East Courtney Street, Dunkirk was charged Oct. 10 with public urination.
Scott Klein, 19, of Shultz Hall was charged Oct. 10 with unlawful possession of alcohol for a person under 21 and violation of an open container.
John Jayne Jr., 20, of Getzville was charged Oct. 10 with unlawful possession of marijuana, open container violation, and unlawful possession of alcohol for a person under 21.
Michael Curatolo, 18, of Chautauqua Hall was charged Oct. 10 with public urination.
Anastashia Szukala, 20, of Columbus Avenue, Dunkirk was charged Oct. 11 with unlawful possession of alcohol for a person under 21 and an open container violation.
Kyle O'Connor, 25, of Van Buren Bay, Dunkirk was charged Oct. 11 with disorderly conduct obscene language and gestures.
Margaret Schrum, 23, of West Seneca was charged Oct. 11 with violation of an open container law.
Joshua Runkel, 28, of Temple Street was charged Oct. 11 with harassment physical contact and burglary ill-entry. A domestic violence report was also filed.

Terin Butler, 19, of Washington Avenue was charged Oct. 9 with criminal mischief.
Amanda Hardy, 22, of Harmon Hill Road, Fredonia was charged Oct. 10 with driving while intoxicated and failure to use designated lane.
Luis Rivera, 31, of Canary Street was charged Oct. 10 with harassment and criminal mischief.
Pomfret Town Justice
The Pomfret Town Justice reported a total of 472 cases during the month of September. Cases included: 424 vehicle and traffic, 15 criminal, 1 Ag. and Market, 1 public health law, 22 suspension lifts, and 7 civil. The total number of fines collected totalled $34,048.
