JCC?offering one-day infection control training sessions
Jamestown Community College, a provider for the New York state barrier precautions and infection control training program, is offering one-day training sessions at JCC's Jamestown Campus and North County Center.
One-day sessions will be held on Nov. 11 in Jamestown and on Dec. 9 in Dunkirk. The course meets from 1-4 p.m. at each location and tuition is $30.

The program is designed for licensed health professionals in New York state who must complete infection control training to meet licensing requirements. Besides background information on state legislation, the course explores the transmission, control, and prevention of pathogenic organisms in health care settings, exposure to potentially infectious material, personal protective equipment, and prevention and control of infectious and communicable diseases among health care workers.
