Gowanda Harley-Davidson salutes our nation’s troops

POSTED: November 9, 2009

GOWANDA - Gowanda Harley-Davidson continues a Harley-Davidson tradition of supporting our nation's troops in November with a Military Appreciation Month in recognition of those defending freedom around the world.

The Military Appreciation Month promotion for November 2009 will give people the chance to thank our troops by coming in to pick up complementary "Thank You" postcards to mail to a soldier. In addition, the dealership is collecting signatures of appreciation on a Harley-Davidson flag to send to the troops overseas.

Military Appreciation Month includes promotional posters, post cards and online banners featuring American supermodel Marisa Miller with a style and theme designed as a tribute to the nostalgic pin-up art of the World War II era.

"We just want to thank our troops for the freedom that we enjoy in this country and around the world," said Brian LeBarron of Gowanda Harley-Davidson. "We hope that Military Appreciation Month at Gowanda Harley-Davidson can help boost pride in our military and show our appreciation for their service and sacrifice."
