Throughout the end of September, many individuals and families came to Nature's Network to donate to The Red Cross Disaster Relief fund, and together raised $1,000 for Gowanda and Silver Creek.
Nature's Network and Locavore Cafe, located at 40 E. Main St. in Fredonia, put out the call for donations, offering a free meal to anyone who donated.
"The response from the community has been fantastic," said Andrew Maggitti, owner of Nature's Network and Locavore Cafe. "It's great to see the local community come together like this."
Nature's Network and Locavore Cafe, which is located within Nature's Network, is a grocery store and newly opened cafe which focus on local and organic produce, foods and products.
Although the benefit has drawn to a close at the store, individuals who have not gotten a chance can still donate by sending a check to The Red Cross Disaster Relief, 430 17th St. NW, Washington, D.C., 20006 and putting Gowanda and Silver Creek in the memo line.
Nature's Network and Locavore Cafe sincerely wish to thank Arkwright Printing, Patrick Doyle and everyone who came in and donated.
