Special benefit for Dean Janes Saturday at Brocton Legion

BROCTON - A special benefit has been planned for Dean Janes this Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Brocton American Legion Post 434 at 110 W. Main St., in Brocton..
All proceeds from this event will be used to pay medical bills and expenses for Janes, who was seriously injured in a May motorcycle accident. Janes is a self-employed logger and has been unable to work since his accident. Despite the help of family and friends, expenses are mounting, as Janes has not had an income since May.
Janes is a 1986 graduate of Brocton Central School and has two teen sons, Dean and Damon.
There will be pizza, wings and chili and music will be provided by DJ Hector.
Raffles, Chinese and Silent auctions will be going on throughout the event slated from 6 to 10 p.m.

In addition to numerous drawing throughout the evening, tickets will be sold for prizes such as a 41-inch television, a truck load of firewood (valued at $750) and an 870 Express Laminated Deer Gun.
