Chautauqua County Court
MAYVILLE - District Attorney David W. Foley announced the following pleas and sentences in Chautauqua County Court:
Brian J. Plaatje, 27, of Grubb Hill Road, Kennedy, was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison for fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Steven J. Rice, 22, of South Stockton-Cassadaga Road, Sinclairville, was sentenced to 1 1/3 to 4 years in prison for three counts of first-degree unlawful imprisonment, each to run concurrently.
Frank Galarza, 26, of Townsend Street, Dunkirk, was sentenced to 1 year determinate with 2 years post-release supervision for violation of probation.
Luis A. Acevedo, 42, of Spring Street Ext., Jamestown, was sentenced to 1 year in jail for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, consecutive to 6 months in jail for violation of probation.
Edgardo Hernandez, 49, of Jamestown, was sentenced to 6 months in jail, 5 years probation and 6 months driver's license revocation for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, to be served concurrently with his conviction of 5 years probation for third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Catherine L. Wilson, 29, of Main Street, Forestville, was sentenced to 5 years probation, a $1,000 fine and 1 year driver's license revocation for felony driving while intoxicated.
Gerald A. Hugg, 56, of Route 20, Westfield, was sentenced to 5 years probation, a $2,500 fine and 1 year driver's license revocation for felony driving while intoxicated.
Tyler J. Kay, 25, of Euclid Avenue, Jamestown, was sentenced to 5 years probation for third-degree burglary.
Johnathan N. Paddock, 25, of 224 N. Alleghany Road, Jamestown, was sentenced to 5 years probation for second-degree attempted possession of a forged instrument and petit larceny.
Cattaraugus County Court
Pamela S. Larvie, 43, of Gowanda waived prosecution by indictment and entered a plea of guilty by superior court information to aggravated driving while intoxicated, a class D felony, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. On or about Aug. 8, in the city of Salamanca, she operated a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition, having a BAC of .18 percent and without a valid driver's license as a result of a prior alcohol-related conviction. Additionally, she admitted to violating the terms and conditions of a previously imposed sentence of probation. She will be sentenced on both matters on Feb. 1, 2010.
Hope J. Raichlin, 43, of Cattaraugus waived prosecution by indictment and entered a plea of guilty by superior court information to second-degree attempted forgery, a class E felony. On or about Sept. 6, in the town of Persia, with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another she attempted to falsely make, complete or alter a written instrument, to wit, a prescription of a duly licensed physician. Additionally, she admitted to violating the terms and conditions of a previously imposed sentence of probation. She will be sentenced on other matters on Feb. 1, 2010.
Silver Creek Village Court
Marc Alello, 18, of Rochester, was arraigned on a charge of possession of marijuana. His case was adjourned to Jan. 6.
Michael A. Barringer, 33, of Sherman, was arraigned on aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding and his case was adjourned to Jan. 6.
Stephanie Hart, 25, of Silver Creek, was arraigned on aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding and was adjourned to Dec. 2.
A 16-year-old Silver Creek girl was arraigned on a charge of second-degree reckless endangerment. Her case was adjourned to Jan. 6.
A 17-year-old Irving boy was arraigned on endangering the welfare of a child. His case was adjourned to Jan. 6.
Alan R. Kilburn, 25, of Irving, was arraigned on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. His case was adjourned to Jan. 6.
Mark A. Parisio Sr., 45, of Adams Street, Silver Creek, was arraigned on charges of property maintenance, failure to remove debris and storing a motor vehicle. He will return to court at a later date.
Michelle Riddle, 35, of Bayview Avenue, Silver Creek, pleaded guilty to dog at large and was fined $25.
Lisa A. Smith, 46, of Adams Street, Silver Creek, had two counts of unlicensed dog dismissed.
