- PORTLAND - Charles M. Finn, 38, of Terrace Street, Westfield was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and having .08 percent or more blood alcohol content.
Deputies checking on a suspicious vehicle in the area of the cemetery on Cemetery Road found Finn behind the wheel of his vehicle, which was pulled off the road.
The investigation led to the DWI charges which are to be answered in Portland Town Court.
- JAMESTOWN - Sheriff's deputies, State Police, Jamestown Police and N.Y. State Liquor Authorities were conducting an Operation Impact investigation Saturday.
Multiple bars were checked throughout the night to ensure each was operating within the state's standards.
Officers checked the bar at "The House that Jack Built" located on Route 430 in the Town of Ellery.
A young woman seen with an alcoholic beverage in her hand was asked for identification and the investigation led to her being identified as Priscilla J. Wallace, 20, of Washington Street, Jamestown.
Wallace told officers she could not produce her identification, but that she was of legal age to drink alcohol.
It was determined she was 20 years old and she intentionally tried to evade officers' investigation.
She was subsequently charged with false personation and underage possession of alcohol with intent to consume.
The bartender, identified as Stephanie Ricketts, 26, of Delaware Avenue, Jamestown was charged with prohibited sale of alcohol to a minor.
Both women are to answer the charges in Ellery Town Court.
- HANOVER - Timothy J. Bertino, 20, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment, trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Deputies responded to a harassment call from a residence on King Road and following an investigation, obtained a warrant for Bertino.
He was arraigned on the charges in Hanover Town Court and was committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of unspecified bail.
- VILLENOVA - Adam J. Buckreis, 23, of Dunkirk was injured Sunday in an accident on Route 322 in the Town of Villenova.
Deputies said Buckreis was having severe chest pains and lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel about 200 feet off the roadway and come to rest in a resident's front yard.
He was transported to Lake Shore Hospital by South Dayton Rescue.
No charges were filed.
Silver Creek Police
Cindy Sue Hale, 41, of Ocala, Fla., was charged on Nov. 20 with disorderly conduct. Hale was arraigned in the Town of Hanover Court and was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail. She is scheduled to appear in the Village of Silver Creek Court on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.
A 15-year-old Hanover Road juvenile was charged on Nov. 18 with first-degree harassment following an investigation with the juvenile repeatedly harassing another student at Silver Creek Central School. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Chautauqua County Family Court at a later date. The investigation was conducted by the Silver Creek Police Resource Officer.
