Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office
- MAYVILLE - Josue Baez, 21, of Dunkirk was featured on the Chautauqua County Wanted Persons list for second-degree burglary.
He was arrested by Dunkirk Police and is currently being held in Chautauqua County Jail.
His name has been removed from the wanted list.
- MAYVILLE - Robert Nichols, 47, of Penfield, Pa.,was featured on the Chautauqua County Wanted Persons list for felony driving while intoxicated.
He was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police.
Nichols waived extradition and was picked up by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department and is currently being held in Chautauqua County Jail.
His name has been removed from the wanted list.
Chautauqua County Court
- MAYVILLE - District Attorney David W. Foley announced the following pleas and sentences in Chautauqua County Court.
- Jose G. Rodriguez, 36, of Maple Avenue, Dunkirk, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison with two years post-release supervision for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
- Luis G. Nunez, 41, of Prendergast Avenue, Jamestown, was sentenced to 1 1/2 to three years in prison for first-degree criminal contempt.
- Isaac J. Miller, 40, of Orchard Street, Cherry Creek, was sentenced to one year in jail for felony driving while intoxicated.
- Jennifer M. Garcia, 27, of Bush Street, Jamestown, was sentenced to time served and five years probation for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
- Denzel M. Bunce, 19, of East 2nd Street, Jamestown, was sentenced to time served and three years probation for third-degree assault.
- Jeremy J. Gross, 39, of Bank Street, Westfield, was sentenced to a $5,000 fine and five years probation for felony driving while intoxicated.
Gowanda Police Department
Two individuals were charged Nov. 15 for allegedly entering an apartment and causing damage.
Linda A. Halftown, 49, of Gowanda and Colan Martin, 33, of North Collins reportedly entered the apartment of a victim unlawfully and smashed a stereo and glass table. Halftown allegedly also forced her elbow into the chest of the victim, causing pain.
Halftown was charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass and harassment. Martin was charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Both were released on appearance tickets to Collins Town Court.
Two individuals were charged Nov. 21 following a vehicle stop within the village.
Adam T. Haight, 19, of Evans, the driver of the vehicle, was charged with driving while intoxicated, no license plate light and possessing an open container of alcohol. Kevin D. Wachowski, 21, of Buffalo, a passenger, was charged with possessing an open container of alcohol.
Westfield Police
- Christopher Mancari, 39, of Union Street, Westfield was charged Saturday with second-degree criminal tampering.
Westfield Police arrested him after an investigation into a tampering incident involving a Westfield water meter.
Officers were called to a Union Street residence by village employees who reported they had found a meter tampered with.
Mancari allegedly bypassed the water meter to provide water to an apartment he was staying in.
He is to answer the charge in Westfield Village Court.
