DHS tops Silver Creek in Division 1 match

Dunkirk's Patrick Meyer rolled games of 174, 212 and 182 for a 568 total as Dunkirk (7-5) topped Silver Creek 3-1 in CCAA Division 1 bowling action.

The Maruders used a linescore of 812, 860, 955-2,627 to the Black Knight's 830, 849, 792-2,471 to earn the victory.

Also for Dunkirk, Josh Sobilo had games of 174 and 228 for a 564 set while Joel Mosier added a 215 and Jeremiah Dloniak a 208.

For Silver Creek, Steve Myers rolled a team-high 570 series, bowling games of 192, 199 and 179. Also, Jordan Naudasher added games of 195 and 187 for a 538 series while Shane Ryan added games of 210 and 180 for a 528 series.

In the girls' match, Dunkirk (7-1) finished with a linescore of 759, 808, 808-2,375 to Silver Creek's (4-4) 682, 622, 732-2,036, earning a 4-0 win.

Kayla Kubera led the Lady Maruaders with a 589 series after bowling games of 202, 167 and 220. Also for Dunkirk, Lindsy Dloniak bowled a 214461, Andrea Hobbs a 199-536 and Brianna Snow a 175.

For the Black Knights, Liz Golubski led the team with a 197-500 while Brandy Olsen added a 427 and Lauren Grieswich a 152.

Fredonia boys, girls victorious

It was a successful night for the Fredonia Hillbillies boys' and girls' bowling teams, as they both blanked the Southwestern Trojans 4-0 on Monday at Lucky Lanes.

In the boys' match, Fredonia (4-0) put together games of 843, 880, 886 for a total of 2619.

Stewart Whitver was the high roller with a 191 game and a 561 series while Tyler Sam tallied a 550 total and a 199 high game.

Southwestern (0-8) chalked up a linescore of 792, 847, 842-2481 with Stephen Pool putting up the high game of the match with a 223 and the high series of the match with a 574. Taylor West had a 202 high game and a 552 series.

The Lady Hillbillies (4-0) also put together a dominating performance with scores of 813, 869, 714-2396 compared to the Lady Trojans' (1-7) scores of 687, 661, 612-1960.

Amy Seybold charted a 201 game and a 511 series, Emily Pleszewski rolled out a 211 game with a 487 total and Veronica Erick bowled a 189 game for a 495 series total.

For Southwestern, Lauren Sehweichler had the team's high game (154) and series (450)

The Fredonia boys' team will travel to Jamestown on Wednesday.

Gowanda boys, girls open season with wins

GOWANDA - The Gowanda Panthers boys' bowling rolled 4-0 over the Falconer Golden Falcons, Monday in Division 1.

Gowanda produced a 834, 940, 886-2660 linescore thanks to high series Justin Clareus' scores of 210, 191, 178-570 and Justin Grimm's high game of 207.

Falconer bowled a 794, 908, 868-2570 for the match. Matt Erickson recorded games of 161, 202 and 182 for a 545 total while Ryan Mays scored a 202 high game.

Meanwhile, the Gowanda Lady Panthers handed the Falconer Lady Golden Falcons a 4-0 beating with linescores of 631, 559, 555-1745 to Falconer's 587, 563, 540-1643.

Leading the Lady Panthers (3-1) was Brandy Lesefske, who bowled a 385 series with score of 121, 116 and 148. Marya Hoffman had a high game of144.

Rolling the high series for Falconer (1-7) was Jenn Trusso with a 369. Sarah Rasussen had a high game of 146 and her series was a 366.

Brocton boys, girls sweep CLCS

CUTTING - Both the Brocton Bulldogs boys' and girls' bowling teams swept the Chautuaqua Lake Thunderbirds 4-0, Monday in Division 2 action at Cutting Lanes.

In the boys' match the Bulldogs improved to 8-0 on the year with a linescore of 764, 842, 805-2411 compared to the Thunderbirds' scores of 688, 633, 604-1944.

Leading Brocton was John Nickerson with a 168, 219, 179-566 night. Nolan Priolette rolled game scores of 166, 179, and 167 for a 512 series while Josh Timmerman had a total of 513 and high games of 166 and 206. Patrick Bigelow added a 175 game.

Chautauqua Lake (0-4) was led by Tom Sullivan's 480 series and 200 game. Ryan McLaughlin recorded scores of 169 and 173 with 459 series while Justin Parment had high games of 153 and 155.

In the girls' meet, Brocton (8-0) won all for games with scores of 494, 559, 528-1581, to the Lady Thunderbirds' (0-4) 476, 446, 482-1415.

The Lady Bulldogs' Kristina Karalus rolled a 490 series with 174, 170 and 146 games while Stephanie Woleben added a 159 high game.

Heather Sullivan of Chautauqua Lake had a high game of 141 with a series of 409 while Brandy Walker and Jessica Parment tallied scores of 146 and 121, respectively.

Chautauqua Lake's next match is Wednesday at Frewsburg.

Randolph earns 4-0 win over Forestville

The Randolph girls' bowling team opened it's season with a perfect, 4-0 sweep of Forestville (4-4) in Monday's Division 2 match held at Fountain Bowl.

In the boys match, Forestville earned a 3-1 victory to improve to 7-1 on the season while the Cardinals will start their season with a 1-3 mark.

The Randolph girls won by the scores of 615-507, 552-542 and 533-513 for a three-game win of 1,700-1,562.

Leading the team for the Lady Cardinals was Moreen Kibbe with a high-series of 496. Ashley Young posted a high game of 190 and finished with a series total of 475.

For Forestville, Emily Dillenburg rolled a 494 series and Ashley Howard a 422 that included a high game of 171.

On the boys' side, the Hornets won the first game 899-876 and game three 1,023-897, but a Cardinal win in game two by the score of 947-932 helped put Randolph on the board. The three-game total was 2,854-2,720 in favor of Forestville.

Forestville's Dakota Griewisch led the Hornets with a 249 game and a 628 series. Spencer Johnson chipped in with a 241-600 and Cody Schrader a 215-578. Nick Botticello had a high game of 201 and Mike Franklin a 192.

For Randolph, Brent Livermore had the high series on the night with a 672 that included high games of 242 and 230. John Ring rolled a 226-590 while Jeremy Keesler had a high game of 207.
