IRVING - Matthew Britting, 19, of Lotus Road, Irving was charged Nov. 28 with unlawful possession of marijuana following a vehicle stop on Route 5. He was reportedly found with a pipe containing marijuana and a small baggie with approximately 2.5 grams of marijuana. Britting was scheduled to appear in Brant Town Court.
VERSAILLES - Julie Jimerson, 48, of Lackawanna was charged Nov. 28 with aggravated driving while intoxicated after troopers were summoned to assist Seneca Nation of Indians Marshals on VanVleck Road. Troopers transported Jimerson to the Collins barracks where she was processed with a reportable BAC of .21 percent. She was scheduled to appear in Perrysburg Town Court.
Bonifacio Hermenegildo, 29, of Mexico, reportedly an illegal alien, was found by troopers while investigating a reported open burning and mud complaint on Lenox Road in Collins. Hermenegildo, reportedly working as a "farm hand" on the Degenfelder Farm, was taken in to custody by U.S. Border Patrol agents who were summoned by an investigating trooper.
NORTH COLLINS - Kyle Neubeck, 16, of North Collins was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing after reportedly appearing on the grounds of North Collins Central School after having been told and receiving written notice not to. Neubeck was reportedly on school grounds during an incident with other students on Nov. 15. Travis Armbruster, 16, of Cochran Avenue, Springville was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief for his part in the Nov. 15 incident, having reportedly damaged numerous stakes the school had in the ground around the parking lot and driveway. Both were scheduled to appear in North Collins Town Court.
BRANT - Wilberto Ortiz, 28, of Buffalo Street, Gowanda was charged Nov. 18 with unlawful possession of marijuana following a reported vehicle stop on Versailles Plank Road. Ortiz was reportedly found in possession of a pipe containing marijuana and was scheduled to appear in Brant Town Court.
IRVING - Andrew Sikes, 24, of E. Middle Road, Silver Creek was charged Nov. 17 with unlawful possession of marijuana after his vehicle was reportedly stopped at a road check on Routes 5 and 20. Troopers report that Sikes had a small baggie of marijuana in plain view while passing through the road check. A State Police drug dog located a second bag containing 23 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle. Sikes was scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court.
Silver Creek Court
Ramon Salas, Jr., 21, of Buffalo, was arrested and arraigned on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was released on his own recognizance to return to court Jan. 6.
Daniel C. Edwards, Sr., 31, of Hanford Road, Silver Creek, pleaded guilty to second degree criminal contempt and was fined $705.
James W. Eischen, 20, of Kenmore, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with an order, turn signal, stop sign and speeding violations. His charges of fleeing from an officer, unlicensed driver and reckless driving were dismissed. He was fined $600.
Jose A. Medina-Pagan, 28, of Central Avenue, Silver Creek, pleaded guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct. His charge of unlawful imprisonment was dismissed. He was fined $325.
Sara Morgis, 38, of Silver Creek, pleaded guilty to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $255.
John E. Smith, 47, of Aldrich Road, Silver Creek, pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired. He was fined $760 and his license was suspended.
Chautauqua County Sheriffs
JAMESTOWN - Neil Delany, 25, of East Courtney Street, Dunkirk was charged Thursday with misuse of food stamps. He allegedly failed to report to social services that he was employed full time and received $800 in food stamp benefits he was not entitled to.
He is to answer the charge in Jamestown City Court.
