WESTFIELD - Jacob A. Skelly, age 26, of Union St., Westfield died Monday, December 7, 2009 at Buffalo General Hospital following a very brief illness. Jacob was born on October 11, 1983 in Westfield, the son of Tammy (Culver) Timmerman of Westfield and Timothy Skelly of Fredonia.
A Westfield resident all his life, Jacob was a graduate of Westfield Academy and had been employed by the Food is Good group until his retirement due to his disability. He enjoyed
music, spending time with friends, fishing with his brother, collecting dragons, the Buffalo Sabres, and of course his loving family and his cat, Monoxide. While in school, he sang with the
Westwinds and the Ape Men singing groups. He was also active in the Westfield Cub Scouts when he was younger. Jacob was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 118, of Westfield
Survivors include his mother, Tammy Timmerman and her husband Eric of Ripley, NY and his fa-
ther, Timothy Skelly and his wife Debbie of Fredonia, his four sisters: Breana (George) Phillips of Stockton, NY, Veronica Timmerman of Ripley, NY, Kelly Calvey and Erica Skelly both of Fredonia, NY and his two brothers: Timothy (Jennifer) L. Skelly, II of Westfield, NY, and Luke
Skelly of Ripley, NY. He is further survived by his maternal grandmother, Beverly (Reynolds) Culver of Westfield, NY; paternal grandfather, Ronald Skelly of Dunkirk, NY; maternal great grandmother, Shirley (Cooney) Buelow of Little Valley, NY. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald I.
"Curly" Culver; and paternal grandmother, Alice (Jacobs) Skelly. Friends may call on Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street,
