Trinity Lutheran Church was the setting for the Oct. 17, 2009 marriage of Oui Pakviset of Bangkok, Thailand to David Lee Edwards of Rochester, Minn.
The bride is the daughter of the late Charee and Soon Pakviset. The groom is the son of David and Donna Edwards of Silver Creek. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Chris Agne.
Escorted by her father-in-law, the bride wore a white strapless gown with a chapel train and carried a bouquet of white and pale pink roses. A reading for the ceremony was given by Donna Edwards, mother of the groom.

Miss Stephanie Edwards of Bassett, Wis., niece of the groom, served as maid of honor and Mrs. Linda Edwards of Lubbock, Texas, sister-in-law of the groom, was the matron of honor.
Brothers of the groom Dale Edwards of Silver Creek and Donn Scott Edwards of Lubbock were the best men.
A reception was held at the Silver Creek VFW. Friends and relatives attended from Silver Creek, Dunkirk, Forestville, Buffalo, Angola, Batavia, Alden, Rochester, New York City, New Jersey and Wisconsin.
The bride graduated from high school in Bangkok and was employed with Landmark Education International in Thailand, before coming to the United States. The groom graduated from Silver Creek High School and Kent State University in Ohio with a bachelor's degree in communications. He received his master's degree at Indiana State University. He is employed as an instructor at South Central State College in Faribault, Minn. The couple resides in Rochester, Minn.
