Lindsay Diane Johnson and Ryan Matthew VandeVelde exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 3, 2009 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Jamestown. Father Eric Williams performed the ceremony. Organist was Ron McIntyre.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Marilyn Johnson of Falconer, and the granddaughter of Dominic Spitale of Falconer and Beverly Johnson of Falconer. Her husband is the son of Thomas and Deborah VandeVelde of Westfield.
The bride wore a Maggie Sottero one-piece, satin, strapless, A-line, corset back gown, in the color Light-Gold. The bodice was encrusted with crystal and glass beads, with an asymmetrical waistline and embellishments sprinkled on the front and back of the skirt.

Erica Marcum was maid of honor and Tara McQuaid was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kara and Ericka Johnson, sisters of the bride; Lyndsay Burns, Johanna VandeVelde, cousin of the groom; and Renee Turck. Flower girl was Mia VandeVelde, niece of the groom. Ring bearers were Lucas VandeVelde and Arnold Selvidge III, both nephews of the groom.
Best man was Jason VandeVelde, brother of the groom; Adam Johnson, brother of the bride; Justin Luther, and Brian Kinney, and Nick, Mark, and Jamie VandeVelde, all cousins of the Groom.
Master and mistress of ceremonies were Cindy LaFever, godmother of the bride, and Tim LaFever.
Readers were Mary Marcum; James Johnson Jr., uncle of the bride; and Shannon Selvidge, sister of the groom.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Falconer Central School, a 2003 graduate of Jamestown Community College, and a 2006 graduate of SUNY Fredonia where she earned her B.A. in communicative disorders. She is employed by the Barber National Institute in Erie, Pa., as the Behavioral Health Facilitator for Warren, Pa. Her husband is a 1998 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School, is and employed by Comfort Pest Control in Dunkirk.
They honeymooned in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
The couple resides in Jamestown.
