TO creates excitement with ‘Cruze Giveaway’ contest
August 30, 2010
General Motors is on the brink of releasing for sale its new, sporty, small car, the Chevy Cruze, and the very first one made for retail sale could end up in the Warren community.
The Times Observer has teamed up with its sister paper, the Tribune Chronicle in Warren, Ohio, and Jones Chevrolet to offer our readers a chance to win the new Cruze. Entries must be on official entry forms published in the newspaper, but no purchase is necessary. If you want a free entry form, stop by the newspaper during business hours and request a Cruze give-away entry form.
The entries must be deposited at Jones Chevrolet between now and Oct. 11. The drawing to determine the winner will be on Oct. 15. At that time, only the winning community will be announced. Currently, newspapers in 14 markets are participating in the chance to win the car. The newspaper in the winning community will then notify the lucky winner.
The following small to medium markets across the country will participate in the give-away: Warren, Lisbon, Tiffin, Salem and East Liverpool in Ohio; Marquette, Alpena and Iron Mountain in Michigan; Altoona, Warren and Lewistown in Pennsylvania; Marshalltown, Iowa; Cape Coral, Fla.
The Times Observer has sister newspapers in all of those markets. “We are fortunate to be able to offer our readers a chance to win this beautiful automobile,” said Bob Patchen, Publisher. “We appreciate that Jones Chevrolet is willing to help with this exciting give-away. It would be great to be able to surprise someone right here in Warren with a brand new Cruze.”
