Grassroots Coalition to host Susan M. Corbett
September 8, 2010
Women’s Coalition of “Tom Corbett for Governor”, in conjunction with the Warren County Working Women’s Network will host a grassroots interactive working lunch with Susan M. Corbett, wife of Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett.
This lunch will be held Saturday, Sept. 18, 11:30 to 1:30 at the Woman’s Club of Warren, 310 Market Street. A wine and punch reception from 11:30 to noon will precede the lunch. Billed as a grassroots event, open to the public, it will primarily involve Warren Working Women. However, men are also invited to this non-partisan event.
Local women in particular are invited to attend to give them opportunity to convey ideas, issues and concerns that affect them, their families, livelihoods, and their Warren County Community. Of particular interest are issues affecting the Working Women. During the working and interactive part of the program, each table of ten will be expected to come up with a minimum of one issue concerning our Working Women for presentation to Mrs. Corbett for transmittal to the Corbett campaign.
Susan is currently the Vice President of Programs and Development at the Gettysburg Foundation, a non-profit organization that partners with National Park Service to enhance the preservation and understanding of the heritage and lasting significance of Gettysburg.
