Tara Lynn Wlodarek and Michael Anthony Epolito of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Dunkirk, were united in marriage on July 10, 2010 at 2 p.m. in a double-ring ceremony officiated by Rev. Thomas Lawton at St. John's United Church of Christ in Dunkirk. The bride is the daughter of William and Cynthia Wlodarek of Dunkirk. The groom is the son of Ronald and Mary Epolito of Dunkirk.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless, fit-flare silhouette, diamond white Casablanca wedding gown embroidered on sleek satin, embellished with crystal and pearl beadwork, with a scalloped hemline and chapel-length train. She wore a crystal headpiece with a finger tip crystal and pearl-edged veil. The bride chose a bouquet of three shades of pink roses accented with stemmed crystals.
The maids of honor were Audra Danforth of Fredonia and Jill Walawender of Charlotte. Bridesmaids were Lacy Krystofik and Sara Rencek of Dunkirk; Megan Stock of Arlington, Va.; and Erika Washburn of Charleston, S.C. The attendants wore strapless, satin black cocktail dresses and carried bouquets of a white hydrangea with shades of pink roses and carnations accented with stemmed crystals.

The best men were Nicholas Epolito of Reading, Pa., and Geoff Galapa of Jamestown. The groomsmen were Rick Zappie of Dunkirk; Terry Frazier of Dunkirk; Todd Bialaszewski of Rochester; and Tim Weaver of Charlotte. The reception was held at St. Hedwigs Social Center in Dunkirk.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Dunkirk High School, 2004 graduate of Jamestown Business College and a 2006 graduate of Alfred State College. She is a coding specialist for Carolina's Healthcare System in Charlotte. The groom is a 2002 graduate of Dunkirk High School and a 2004 graduate of Jamestown Business College. He is an operations manager for National Alamo at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in Charlotte.
The couple had their honeymoon at Maroma Beach, Cancun, Mexico, and make their home in Charlotte.
