Kristy Close and Brian Madison of Jamestown were united in marriage on September 25, 2010 at Fluvanna Community Church. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Dayle Keefer.
The bride is the daughter of William Close of Jamestown and Kathleen Close-Murphy of Charlotte, N.C. Her grandparents are Margaret and James Canon, Hollywood, Fla. The groom is the son of Ronald and Michelle Madison of Ellington. His grandparents include Robert and Eileen Madison of Ellington, Phillip Desborough of Ellington, and Marilyn Desborough of Charlotte.
The bride wore a Faille A-line ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and side draped detail.

Matron of honor was Jennifer Price and maid of honor was Kyla Johnson. Bridesmaids included Aleyna Mandel, Lacey Jackson and Melissa Mohney. Serving as junior bridesmaid was Madison Mohney. Flower girls were Shannon and Lauren Daly.
The best man was Travis Olmstead. Ushers included Matthew Mandel, Dan Gould and Bill Close. Ring bearer was Ryan Daly.
Master and mistress of ceremonies were Darla Close and Darryl Ferraro. Donna Gatz served as organist and Christine Purslow was the soloist.
The bride is a graduate of Maple Grove High School, Jamestown Business College and currently employed by HSBC as a branch customer service representative.
The groom is a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Jr./Sr. High School, Jamestown Community College and is currently employed by Hanson sign company as a graphic designer.
The couple resides in Jamestown.
