Amanda Ohnmeiss and Brian Smith exchanged vows on July 4, 2010 in an outdoor ceremony on Lake Erie at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, Pa. Pastor Timothy Phelps performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ohnmeiss Jr. of Gerry and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ohnmeiss Sr. of Irving, as well as the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy H. Roberts Jr. of Silver Creek. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith of Erie and is the grandson of Mary Lou Atkinson, Leslie Smith, the late William Atkinson and the late Jackie Smith.
The bride was escorted by both her mother and father. She wore a custom strapless gown by Casablanca Bridal with a sweetheart neckline and ruffled layers of lace and organza that flared out just below the hips and finished in a semi-cathedral length train.

The bride's sister, Megan Ohnmeiss, was the maid of honor and Ryan Beer was the best man.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Falconer Central School in Falconer. She holds a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Allegheny College and a master's degree in neuroscience from Kent State University. She is employed by Linnen Co., L.P.A. in Akron, Ohio.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of McDowell High School in Erie and a 2006 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in management and information systems. He is employed by Moreland Partners, Inc., in Independence, Ohio.
The couple honeymooned for a week in the Dominican Republic and a week at Allegany State Park.
They are living in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
