Mr. and Mrs. Jason Krzyzanowicz

Melissa Chrabasz and Jason Krzyzanowicz were united in marriage on Aug. 14, 2010 at the Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse. Judge Peter Smith performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Nancy Chrabasz of Dunkirk. The groom is the son of Roxanne Nathe of Clayton, N.C., and Richard and Sandy Krzyzanowicz of Forestville.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. She wore a strapless, floor-length ivory organza and lace gown. The gown was trimmed with lace applique and accented with pearls and sequins.

The bride was attended by her friend Jody Bialaszewski of Eden as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Tammi Feiner of Brocton, sister of the bride; Jaime Wardell of Dunkirk and Debbie Hopkins of Plano, Texas; friends of the bride, and Keraghen Krzyzanowicz, niece of the groom. Karleigh Krzyzanowicz, niece of the groom, served as the flower girl.

Butch Krzyzanowicz, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Ushers included Chad Ellman, and Dave and Mike Marvin, all friends of the groom. Caleb Andin, son of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The reception was held at the Blessed Mary Angela Parish. After the wedding, the couple continued their honeymoon at Lake George.

Both the bride and groom attended and graduated from Dunkirk High School. The bride graduated from SUNY Fredonia and is a secretary at BOCES. The groom is employed at The Resource Center.

The couple resides in Dunkirk.
