Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Congdon

Megan M. Lemiszko and Kevin E. Congdon of Dunkirk were united in marriage on July 24, 2010 at the Dunkirk Conference Center. Pastor Amy Fitzgerald of First United Methodist Church in Dunkirk performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Fred and Jane Lemiszko of Dunkirk. The groom is the son of Duke and Michelle Congdon.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white organza full-length gown with a train and antique beading around her waist. She carried a bouquet of blue, yellow and white daisies. Kristen Tarnowski, cousin of the bride, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Lemiszko, sister-in-law of the bride, and Amanda Goebel, sister of the groom. Makayla Pasierb, niece of the bride, served as flower girl. The bridesmaids wore the dress of their choice in clover green and carried white daisy bouquets.

James and Nick Congdon, twin brothers of the groom, served as the best men. Ushers included Frederick Lemiszko II and Zak Lemiszko, brothers of the bride; and Michael Goebel, brother-in-law of the groom. Robert Kozlowski IV, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer.

A reception was held at St. Hedwig's Social Center in Dunkirk. The couple went to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, for their honeymoon.

The bride graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor's degree in education. She is currently employed by Woodforest Bank. The groom graduated from Alfred State. He is currently employed by National Fuel.

The couple resides in their new home in Dunkirk.
