Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church was the setting for the Oct. 16, 2010 marriage of Jennifer Taylor and James Diakakis. The 2:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony was performed by Pastor Michael Leamon. Soloist was Wendy Leamon.
The bride is the daughter of Shirley Taylor and the late Marshall Taylor of Smith Mills. The groom, formerly of Cassadaga, is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Diakakis.
Escorted by her mother, the bride wore a strapless ivory chiffon full-length gown with a beaded empire waist and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, white and lavender lisianthus and white spray roses.

Amanda Gielser served her sister as matron of honor and wore a full-length gown of navy blue taffeta. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, spray roses, white lisianthus and blue bachelor buttons. Jamie Lynn Diakakis, daughter of the groom, served as flower girl. She wore a three-quarter-length ivory chiffon gown with metallic beading at the bodice. She carried a white lace trimmed basket filled with blue and lavender rose petals.
Robert Frank of Cassadaga served his lifelong friend as best man.
A reception following the ceremony was held at the VFW Post in Sheridan.
The bride graduated from Forestville Central and Houghton College. She is currently employed by the Silver Creek Central School district. The groom graduated from Kenmore High School and owns and operates Kitchen Cabinet Refacing, Inc.
After a honeymoon to Niagara Falls, the couple are at home in Forestvillle.
