Village of Fredonia officials are not happy with the town of Pomfret. Despite any real perceived services the village receives from the town, Pomfret in its recent budget approved an increase in the tax rate for the village. The issue, however, is likely far from over. Trustees are expected to continue to discuss this in coming meetings - and before the village's budget is unveiled in the coming months.
