Paul and Stacey Gordon

Stacey Marie Newton and Paul Worth Gordon were united in marriage on Sept. 18, 2010 at Lanzi's on the Lake on Great Sacandaga Lake. The Honorable Marjorie Jones officiated the ceremony. Bagpipes were played at the wedding by Tom Callahan.

The bride is the daughter of Philip Newton of Cherry Creek and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lowe of Concord, N.H. She is the granddaughter of Allene Newton of Sinclairville and the late Honorable Robert Newton. The groom is the son of John and Debbie Gordon of Medusa, N.Y.

The bride wore a taffeta pick-up gown with beaded bodice. Her maid of honor was Rachael Wright, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids included Jodee Newton and Taylor Lowe, sisters of the bride.

The best man was Alex Gordon, brother of the groom. Ushers included James McElwey and Jeffrey Clements.

The bride is a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School, Jamestown Community College and SUNY Oswego. She is employed as a senior auditor for New York State Teachers' Retirement System. The groom is a graduate of Greenville Central School, Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY Albany. He is employed as an IT specialist for New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. They now reside in Albany.
