Megan Begier and Matthew Bargar announce their engagement. Begier is the daughter of Karen Begier of Holmes Place, Fredonia and Phillip Begier of East Main Street, Fredonia. Bargar is the son of Randy Bargar of Jamestown and the late Susan Bargar.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Fredonia High School. Begier attended SUNY Fredonia and Jamestown Business College. The prospective groom graduated from Jamestown High School.
An August 2012 wedding is planned.
