Andrea Hobbs' 216-162-487 helped the Dunkirk Lady Marauders (3-1) come out on top in their first girls' high school Division 1 bowling match against the Gowanda Lady Panthers (1-3) on Monday at Lucky Lanes.
Also bowling well for Dunkirk were Lindsy Dloniak with a 167-187-480 and Taylor Levandoske who charted a 159-171. The Lady Marauders linescore was 770-703-565-2,308.
The Lady Panthers' linescore read 562-671-631-1,864. Rolling strong were Stephanie Hedges with a 197-418, Malyssa Farley recording a 166 game, Lauren Wing charting a 144 game and Val Brown bowling a 138 game.

FREWSBURG - The Chautauqua Lake Lady Thunderbirds (0-4) were swept by the Frewsburg Lady Bears (4-0) in girls' high school bowling on Monday at Frewsburg Lanes.
Frewsburg's linescore read 532-527-520-1,579 while Chautauqua Lake rolled a 457-408-403-1,268.
Leading the way for the Lady Bears was Bobbie Jo Whippo with a 159-317. Heather Sullivan stood out for the Lady Thunderbirds, charting a 169-483.
Fredonia 4, Silver Creek 0
SILVER CREEK - Fredonia' Emily Pleszewski charted a 200-546 and Ashley Skelly finished with a 476 to lead the Lady Hillbillies to a 4-0 sweep of Silver Creek.
The Lady Hillbillies rolled a 720-777-735-2,232 while the Black Knights finished with a 663-716-730-2,109 at Lakeview Lanes.
Amy Seybold finished with a 455 in the win.
Silver Creek's top bowler was Liz Golubski who rolled a 511 and Lauryn Griewisch finished with a 468. Brandi Olson charted a 463 in defeat.
Dunkirk 4, Gowanda 0
The Dunkirk Marauders (4-0) swept the Gowanda Panthers (0-4) with the help of Alex Kubera's 191-222-570 effort.
The Marauders linescore read 953-904-858-2,715. Other key contributors for Dunkirk were Gregorio Capuno rolling a 210-191-571, Jeremiah Dloniak with a 190-209-567 and Matt Haase recording a 198 game.
For the Panthers, their linescore read 797-902-797-2,496. Lead bowlers for Gowanda were Walker Cygan with a 201-201-508, Justin Grimm charting a 205-523, Jarred Bogardus rolling a 186-182 and Ryan Gates finishing with a 200 game.
Dunkirk's girls and boys teams take on Fredonia next at Lucky Lanes on Wednesday.

The Bears were led by Andrew Raymond who recorded a 226-509 while his team's linescore was 744-671-800-2,094 at Frewsburg Lanes.
For the Thunderbirds, Justin Parment bowled a 177-482 and his team's linescore was 504-654-569-1,727.
Forestville 4, Brocton 0
Dakota Griewisch's 273-194-188-655 series paced the Forestville Hornets to a 4-0 victory over the Brocton Bulldogs on Monday in Division 2 boys' high school bowling at Lucky Lanes.
Forestville's linescore read 822-839-944-2,605 while Brocton combined for a 759-825-772-2,356.
Spenser Johnson added a 193-188 for the victors and Corey Forbes finished with a 222. Mike Franklin finished with a 187 for the winners.
The Bulldogs were led by Patrick Bigelow's 190-183 and Nolan Priolette's 201-519.
Silver Creek 3, Fredonia 1
SILVER CREEK - Jordan Naudasher cracked a 225-624 as the Silver Creek Black Knights downed the Fredonia Hillbillies, 3-1, Monday in the opening day of Division 1 boys' high school bowling.
The Black Knights' linescore read 959-831-1077-2,867, compared to the Hillbillies' 807-863-879-2549 at Lakeview Lanes.
Shane Ryan charted a 215-586 while Steve Myers recorded a 236 game. Tim Manning finished with a 201 game and Tyler Steklasa had a 227 game in the victory.
Cody Schrader led Fredonia with a 232-645 and Tyler Sam rolled a 204-525 in defeat.
