Jennifer Ivory and Bradly Merschbach

Jennifer Ivory and Bradly Merschbach were united in marriage on July 17, 2010. The double-ring ceremony was concelebrated by Father John Freund of St. John's University of New York City and Father Walter Werbicki of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton of Dunkirk at St. Anthony's RC Church in Fredonia. Fr. Freund, great uncle of the bride, also officiated the ceremony of the bride's parents in 1976.

The bride is the daughter of Vickie and Dick Ivory of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Peg and Rick Merschbach of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a white organza gown with a draped pick-up skirt which fell to a chapel length train. The dress was enhanced with a beaded alencon lace bodice with a lace-up back. To complement the dress, the bride wore a tiara of crystals and pearls, and carried a bouquet of pink Gerber daisies and white roses.

Matrons of honor Jennifer Kuzma of Rochester, friend of the bride, and Katie Stegle of Dunkirk, cousin of the bride, wore watermelon pink taffeta halter neckline dresses with ruching and a tea-length bubble skirt. Bridesmaids included Sarah Ivory of Penfield, N.Y.; Julie and Laura Szymanowicz of Rochester, cousins of the bride; Kristina Sym of Boston, Mass., and Julia Dippel of Rochester, college roommates of the bride. The bridesmaids wore tea-length watermelon pink cotton satin strapless dresses with ruching and pockets. All attendants carried watermelon pink Gerber daisy bouquets with white and yellow roses.

The best men were Jim and Joe Merschbach of Cincinnati, Ohio, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Chris Ivory of Fredonia, brother of the bride; Justin Rosenacker, Pat Fischer, Scott Boeing and Dave Volker of Cincinatti, Ohio; and Chuck Barrett and Ryan Johnson of Spring Hill, Fla., friends of the groom.

Musicians at the ceremony included pianist Ben Siracuse, and vocalists Laura Szymanowicz and Colleen Zebrowski, cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a cocktail hour and dinner reception was held at Shorewood Country Club in Dunkirk.

Mrs. Merschbach is a graduate of Fredonia Central School as well as a summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo with a degree in mathematics and education. She is currently employed by Spring Hill Central High School as an instructional practices coach for mathematics. The groom is a graduate of Cincinnati Elder High School and Northern Kentucky University with a degree in history and education. He is currently employed by John D. Floyd K-8 School of Environmental Science where he is currently chairman of the Social Studies Department and teaches seventh- and eighth-grade social studies.

After the wedding, the newlyweds enjoyed a week-long Caribbean cruise. The couple now resides in Spring Hill, Fla.
